Filing taxes can be a pain, frustrating, and confusing. Yes there are big name brand companies out there who will always welcome you in, however, you must ask yourself one question before proceeding. That Question is "Do they care?"
I have personal experience with several clients who have had negative results. No, I am not bashing any of these companies. I am actually thankful that they exist because one of them is how I am became a tax professional. However they do hire many and many of people to say the least. Just like most big name brand companies, the owners are more worried about the revenue coming in than actually caring about each client. One of my clients paid a fee and never got her taxes completed properly. Using the knowledge and skills that I have in the tax industry, I was able to actively listen, understand the root of the problem, establish a connection and provide the best solution for my client.
After 9+ years of tax prep, with one of those being a manager for a big name brand company, I have decided that it was time for me to open my own tax prep business, for many of reasons with one being that CARE is being put into each and every client. CARE is provided with white glove customer service to ensure that problems are getting resolved and solutions are helping people stay on track with IRS with their tax returns
